Hyundai IONIQ 5 Launch

The Palestinian Automobile Company, the sole distributor of Hyundai Motors in Palestine, recently unveiled the Hyundai IONIQ5, the latest addition to its fleet of electric-powered vehicles.

The IONIQ5 marks Hyundai’s newest fully electric vehicle, built on the Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). What sets this car apart is its power, speed, and the inclusion of a 72.6 kWh lithium-ion polymer battery, providing an impressive driving range of up to 430 km at a cost of only 47 shekels per charge. The IONIQ5 boasts two electric motors, with the front motor delivering 70 kW and the rear motor 160 kW, generating a total of 305 horsepower and 605 Nm of immediate torque. This configuration ensures exceptional acceleration on both flat roads and uphill terrain, reaching 0-100 km/h in 5.2 seconds with all-wheel drive for optimal vehicle stability.

Hyundai’s electric model stands out with its sleek and innovative design, utilizing eco-friendly materials while maintaining advanced performance levels. Rami Shamsoum, the General Manager of the Palestinian Automobile Company, emphasized the introduction of the cutting-edge Hyundai IONIQ 5 as a qualitative option for customers. Shamsoum stated that this marks a new phase in providing customers with innovative use of interior space and advanced technologies to ensure driver comfort and safety.

 

Shamsoum added that the car is now available in their showrooms and through their dealers, inviting everyone to visit and explore the Hyundai IONIQ 5, promising a unique driving and mobility experience. He highlighted the company’s commitment to quality and continuous improvement in sales and after-sales services.

 

Global Car of the Year

It’s worth noting that the Hyundai IONIQ 5 has gained international attention, winning major global awards for 2022. It was crowned the Best Electric Car in the World, awarded for Best Car Design globally, and achieved the title of Car of the Year.
