These are among the latest models in MG’s new environmentally friendly lineup, offering customers broader and more diverse choices. The company also unveiled the latest smart vehicles from the IM Motors lineup in Palestine: the IM5 and IM6.

Al-Amour: An Addition That Keeps Pace with a New Generation of Electric and Smart Vehicles

In his remarks, Minister of National Economy Eng. Mohammad Al-Amour congratulated Palestine Automobile Company on the opening of the new showroom, expressing his hope that it would represent a valuable addition to the market, contribute to creating job opportunities, facilitate technology transfer, raise service standards, and strengthen our direction toward a more innovative, efficient and sustainable economy.

Al-Amour commended Palestine Automobile Company for its experience and investment in developing services, expanding consumer choices, enhancing competition, and introducing new technologies to the vehicle sector. He stressed that such a step reflects confidence in the Palestinian market and the private sector’s ability to invest, renew and create opportunities even under the most difficult circumstances. He explained that the presence of the MG and IM Motors brands in the Palestinian market is an addition that goes beyond commercial variety, keeping pace with a new generation of electric and smart vehicles.

Al-Amour emphasized that the transition toward electric and smart transportation creates opportunities to improve energy-use efficiency, reduce dependence on conventional fuels, lower environmental impact, and create new areas for investment, employment and specialized services. He stressed the importance of building an integrated national ecosystem that includes reliable charging infrastructure, clear technical standards, maintenance and after-sales services, qualified Palestinian professionals, and genuine guarantees for quality, safety and consumer protection.

Al-Amour explained: “The private sector is an essential partner in driving development, and our responsibility is to create a transparent and competitive business environment that enables serious investment to grow and continue. The Ministry of National Economy, in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Energy Authority and the relevant bodies, will continue working to develop regulatory frameworks and encourage investments that combine economic feasibility, environmental responsibility and technological progress.”

He noted that the State of Palestine is counting on deepening cooperation with the People’s Republic of China in this field and moving from the import of vehicles and technology toward an integrated development partnership encompassing investment, financing, knowledge transfer and capacity building. He added: “We look forward to developing joint financing and investment mechanisms that support the transition toward electric transportation, contribute to establishing charging-station infrastructure, develop maintenance services and digital technologies, train our young engineers and technicians, and open the way for the Palestinian private sector to enter productive and technology projects with added value.”

Tao: The Opening Is a Key Milestone in Our Partnership with Palestine Automobile Company

In his recorded address, IM Motors CEO Liu Tao said that the opening of the new IM showroom in Ramallah is not merely an opening, but an important chapter in IM Motors’ journey in Palestine.
